OUR STORY
It was 2012 – 9 years since Beau had left his hometown of Honolulu, Hawai’i, and 7 years since Clark had left his hometown of Nashville, TN. Each of the two reside in Los Angeles having finished college (what they both had gone to California to do) and both begin settling into their careers. Thankful for their jobs and friends, the only thing left was to find someone to experience life with. One night, they both took to their laptops to see what they might find behind the blue lights of their computer screens. A few taps on their keyboards and some hours later they each entered the world of online dating at Match.com
Two short weeks after making their profiles live, Beau received this message from Clark:
After exchanging a few short e-mails back-and-forth they both agreed to go on their first date...
It was March 18th 2012... the two agreed initially that because it was Sunday, they would have A drink and a bite and make it an early night since they had work the next day…obviously that didn’t happen. One cocktail turned into two, turned into a bottle of wine and two hours later their waiter telling them they were about to close the restaurant.
A quick hug and an awkward kiss goodbye, the two parted for the night.
Fast-forward to today, just shy of almost 10 years together the two will finally marry alongside family and friends at 5:30pm on Saturday, August 28th, 2021.
